Apple hat vor wenigen Stunden den neuen iPod Touch (5 Generation) präsentiert. Der neue iPod touch ist in einem neuen, noch dünneren und leichteren Design erhältlich.
Den neuen iPod Touch 5th Generation gibt's in drei verschiedenen Ausführungen.
Der iPod der fünften Generation ist in 16GB, 32GB und 64GB verfügbar. Die beiden grösseren Geräte (32/64GB) verfügen neben dem 4-inch Retina Display, dem DualCore A5 Prozesor über eine 5MP iSight Kamera.

The new iPod touch is announced via the Apple Online Store and is now starting to go live through the stores.
Here's the detail:
iPod touch is now available in a new 16GB capacity featuring an ultraslim design, 4-inch Retina display, dual-core A5 chip, and Apple EarPods for CHF 279.- in Black & Silver, alongside the existing 32GB and 64GB models (CHF 349.- and CHF 479.-) which also include the built-in 5MP iSight camera, iPod touch loop and are available in five colours, plus PRODUCT (RED).
This new 16GB model of the iPod touch 5th generation replaces the 4th generation (both 16GB and 32GB models) and offers customers a significant step up with the new ultra-thin design, faster performance and advanced technologies.
The iPod touch lineup now consists entirely of iPod touch 5th generation models.
While it does not have the built-in iSight camera, the FaceTime HD camera on the front allows customers to take HD video, make FaceTime calls and take self-portraits (at even higher quality than the rear camera on the 4th generation iPod touch). For customers who want the 5MP iSight camera, iPod touch loop and additional colours, the 32GB and 64GB models are available.
