Sony informiert über Trophäen-System für PlayStation-Klassiker

PC-Gaming soll höheren Stellenwert erhalten

Sony hat bekannt gegeben, dass nicht alle PlayStation und PSP-Klassiker im Rahmen von PlayStation Plus ein Trophäen-System aufweisen werden. Dieses wird es nämlich nur für einige Titel geben, wie beispielsweise "Ape Escape", "Hot Shots Golf", "IQ Intelligent Qube" und "Syphon Filter". In einem Blogeintrag teilt Sony mit, dass die Einführung dieses Features für Entwicklerstudios optional ist.

An anderer Stelle ist durchgedrungen, dass Sony zukünftig mehr Angebote von PlayStation auf dem PC anbieten will. Der Vorstoss geht aus einer Stellenausschreibung hervor. Gesucht wird nämlich eine Person als Director of Product Management, welche die Gesamtleitung der PlayStation-Erfahrung für den PC übernimmt. Aus dem Verantwortungsbereich ist von der PlayStation Network-Integration für den PC zu lesen:

“Lead & grow the PlayStation PC Game Experiences Product organisation including staffing, leadership, and employee development! Lead and evolve the PlayStation game experience roadmap for all game related experiences including SDK development, client application experiences as PlayStation network Platform integration.”
