Die Gute Nachricht für "Kingdom Hearts"-Fans ist, dass "Kingdom hearts 3" bereits in Entwicklung ist. Doch es könnte sein, dass sich die Wartezeit etwas länger hinzieht.
Tetsuya Nomura, Game Designer bei Square Enix, gab in einem Interview an, dass "Kingdom Hearts 3" von "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" abhängt.
"About the next title, Kingdom Hearts 3 depends on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but development of the next title is already underway."
"There are two titles other than Kingdom Hearts 3 in conception, and I think I'll release one within this year."
4 Jahre nach dem Erscheinen des letzten Haupttitels "Kingdom Hearts 2" ist nun endlich der Nachfolger in Arbeit, doch wie lange werden wir noch warten müssen?
Nomura gab zusätzlich noch ein paar Informationen über die Zukunft der Serie preis.
“The series won’t end in Kingdom Hearts 3, more like the conclusion of the Xehanort saga."
“It’s not the case that when Sora’s [Kingdom Hearts' main character] story is over another hero’s story will begin; Sora will be the hero until the end."
Dennoch werden wir uns neben "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" und "Kingdom Hearts 3" auf zwei weitere - noch nicht angekündigte - Spiele des Game-Designers freuen. Und auf eines vielleicht noch dieses Jahr, bleiben wir gespannt.
