In der letzten Zeit wird es immer häufiger üblich, dass Xbox 360 Titel auf mehreren Disc ausgeliefert werden. Nachdem auch "Rage" auf mehreren Discs daher dröhnt, ist inzwischen bestätigt, dass auch "Battlefield 3" nicht auf eine Disc passt.
Wie Patrick Liu von DICE gegenüber GameZine bestätigt hat, wird "Battlefield 3" für die MS-Konsole mit mind. 2 Discs ausgeliefert.
Die zweite DVD enthält Hi-Res Texturen, welche optional auf der Xbox-Festplatte installiert werden können.

Ob die PlayStation 3-Version von "Battlefield 3" ebenfalls über eine entsprechende Install-Funktion verfügt? Das ist uns aktuell leider noch nicht bekannt.
